Millie's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Millie’s first session was loose lead walking. The trainer took her to a part of the paddock Millie hadn’t been to before and Millie did struggle with this at first. The trainer changed direction numerous times and Millie did settle a little. Next time the trainer will spend more time in the paddock to help Millie to learn to resist those smells. Focus: Distraction C
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: The second session for Millie was red light green light with place and drop. The trainer didn’t use a toy but revved up Millie with voice and movement. Millie had fun jumping and running around with the trainer. Then going to place when told. Millie did a good job of this. But struggled with going into a drop when revved up. However by the end of the session Millie was doing much better. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Millie’s last session was drop around other dogs. The first place the trainer took Millie, had to much distraction for Millie so the trainer took it back a notch and Millie progressed well near one other dog that was barking at her. Next time it will be great to get Millie learning to ignore more than the one dog. Focus: Distraction C

We recommend your next step should be…
