A good day for Millie although her walking was a bit all over the place today.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Millie’s first session was loose lead in the paddock with the dam and animals. Millie loved all the smells and pulled quite a bit. Millie was also very interested in the water and wouldn’t hold her drops near the edge. The trainer kept walking in the same area until Millie was walking well. Although she was still pulling on the way back to classroom she did focus more than the start.||Focus: Distraction||C|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Millie’s second session was red light green light with drops. Millie does still struggle to get into position and hold it at times of high excitement. She does know the commands well. So we need to ensure that she is only told once and uh-uh used with leash pressure when she ignores the command. By the end of the session she had made progress and had settled into the game better.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Millie’s final session was spin. It did take her a while to focus and the trainer had to take it back to food luring around. She did progress to not using a food lure but then lost focus and food had to be reintroduced. Despite this, Millie did really well and next time the trainer will start to add it to the loose lead walks to help Millie’s engagement.||Focus: Repetition||B|
