Our feedback
Mila did really well today especially around the horse! Because of her breed she will try and heard other animals, but training her out of it you can throw food on the lawn for her to find or teaching her spin or something so if you know she’s going to do it get her to do a skill instead.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Conditioning | Comment: In Milas first session we conditioned her to her name all this requires is calling her name when she’s distracted once she looks at your reward with ‘yes’ and treats. I was doing in different tones so it wasn’t just the same tone which helps when other people call her name. Work on this with low distractions because she’s only young once she gets these skills perfect that’s when you can move on to big distractions. | Focus: Repetition | A+ |
Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: In her second session we trained place skill up near the horse. She did really well she barked at the start up other then that she was fantastic. She was more worried about the flies then the horse we can work on this more around the farm animals, most of the farm animals were hiding in the shade because it was so hot. | Focus: Distraction | B+ |
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: In Milas last session we trained sit and drops. She didn’t last the whole time through the session this heat definitely takes it out of dogs quickly. She did do pretty well listened to the commands was distracted by flies but that’s just her normal. | Focus: Distraction | B+ |
