|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Mila’s first session was loose lead walking. Having not trained her for a little while it is great to see Mila do well this session. Although she was quite excited to start with, she did settle quickly and worked hard to stay engaged with the trainer. The trainer stayed on the gravel to keep distractions lower and when Mila did get distracted it was easy to get Mila’s attention back with changing direction! Fantastic session.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Next up for Mila was hanky pull. Mila loved this session and was excited to start. It was great to see Mila get excited to do this trick. After completing this a number of times the trainer moved onto a hold skill. Using a wooden spoon the trainer worked with Mila to teach her to hold the spoon. By the end of the session Mila was able to hold the spoon for a very short time.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Drops was the focus of Mila’s final session. The trainer did this outside and Mila did a fantastic job. To help Mila hold position regardless of the distractions the trainer started to walk around Mila. At first Mila would break before the trainer could get halfway atm round Mila. But by the end of the session the trainer was able to walk around Mila without Mila breaking drop! Awesome work Mila.||Focus: Distraction||B|
