Mila's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Sit Comment: In Milas first session we trained sit, as I saw in the notes when you ask her to sit she drops. This is her just being lazy, she does know sit well. To help prevent this have her on lead to help correct her if she does, if she drops when you ask her to sit say ‘nah ah’ and lead pressure upwards to help her sit up then reward with ‘yes’ and treat. She did do it a few times with me but with the correction she was fine. Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Mila’s second session we trained recalls inside on the long line. Because we had no one else in the training shed we definitely took that to our advantage today. She did amazing because of her breed she loves high energy skills which this is definitely one of them. Next time I’d like to see how she goes with another distraction in the class room before we start the skill outside. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: In her last session we trained paws up. We had three different objects one was just a step up, a Bosu ball and another bosu ball which was taller and had a platform on top. She did these really easy was not fussed about the movement of the bosu ball either, using the word ‘paws up’ and pointing to the object. Focus: Distraction A

We recommend your next step should be…
