|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In Milas first session we trained drops. We had two other dogs in the classroom so that was a good distraction for her. Mila didn’t do to bad at her drops but if I left her in a drop for to long she would get up, so I think we will keep practicing this with her and slowly moving up to longer durations.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Milas second session we trained RLGL with place. We did this skill outside and there were dogs around as well so there were lots of distractions. The flirt polk which she loves was a good enough distraction for her then the dogs. She did struggle with this a little bit but that’s okay there were so many distractions so next time I would like to still work on this with her.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Ring a Bell||Comment: In her last session we trained ring the bell while having her in a drop and we also did hanky pull as well. She did so well with this skill, going to start a few more new trick skills with her.||Focus: Distraction||A+|
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
