Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In Milas first session we trained place with dog distractions. At first she struggled to settle a lot and was breaking from place a lot. She has just been over stimulated up in the kennels as it is a high energy environment. After awhile she progressed really well was more engaged and eventually layer down on place. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Milas second session we trained drops with dog distractions. I think she actually quite tired so she will probably sleep well tonight. She wasn’t really listening to me when asking her to drop so I was using the foot break a lot. Towards the end of the session she walked to the crate and opened the door with her nose to go in so she must be exhausted. She’s only young so up in the kennels is so stimulating for her but within a few days she will get used to it. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Milas last session we trained Loose lead walking outside. She was distracted at first because there were another dog in the kennels outside eventually she started to settle and stop pulling on the lead. She wasn’t really engaging with me but she wasn’t pulling either which was really good. Focus: Distraction B+
