Mila was a little tired today but still did an awesome job and had a fun day.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Mila’s first session today was place. This was done in the kennel yards. There were a few noisy dogs around and Mila was very distracted at first. The trainer needed to move further away. Once the trainer reengaged Mila she did really well. She was watching the dogs at times and would go to step off place. But using the Uhuh word and a little leash pressure she made good progress by the end of the session.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Next up for Mila was drop and she is improving all the time with this. She goes into a drop well if she is focused. If she hasn’t turned those ears on the trainer needs to work to get Mila’s attention. The flies are her worst distraction. When she is focused Mila’s duration for drop is improving and the trainer is able to move around Mila a lot more without her breaking position.||Focus: Duration||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Last up for Mila was ring the bell. The trainer kept it simple as Mila was feeling a bit tired after the week of training. It gets very busy here and the dogs don’t sleep much! Mila has done well with this skill and is now starting to put her paw on the bell rather than her nose! Next week the trainer will do another session with this to help Mila fully grasp it. She has done well this week and we look forward to seeing her next week.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
