|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his first session, Meka focused on further developing his skill drop while outside in a high distracting environment (around the pet retreat facility). Meka was initially excited about training and showed little engagement. When in this high distracting environment, he does struggle with engagement. As the session progressed the trainer began to use engagement games to begin redirect his focus onto the trainer. Once engaged he performed well, he can struggle to respond to the verbal cue drop. But with some guidance and the addition on a low hand signal he began to go into drop well. He successfully went into drop while another person was approaching.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his second session, Meka focused on further developing his skill place while outside in a high distracting environment. Similarly, to his first session Meka showed little engagement in this environment, however as the session progressed, he began to slowly redirect his focus and perform well. He successfully remained on place and ignored people, dogs and cars while.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his final session Meka focused on further developing his skill loose lead walking with engagement while around the pet retreat facility. Meka initially showed little engagement when walking outside. However, he quickly redirected his focus as the trainer began to include his know skill of drop. Once engaged Meka performed well.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
