Mavrick's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In his first session, Mav focused on further developing his drop under cat and dog distractions. We focused on this as Mav can still be a little silly when around cats. Mav was excited to start training but settled quickly as the session progressed. While working in the cattery he performed well, he can become distracted by the cats and other dogs but with some guidance from the trainer, he began to perform well. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: In his second session, Mav focused on further developing his recall within the classroom while off the lead. Mav performed well, he quickly responds to the recall command 'come'. The trainer increased the surrounding distractions with people and dogs (in crates) around him. Mav can need some help to ignore the distractions but overall performed well. Focus: Obedience B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: In his final session, Mav focused on further developing his skill Quoits within the classroom. We focused on this to challenge his problem-solving skills. Mav loves training this skill, he quickly interacts with the ring. He does struggle to hold the ring in his mouth. With some guidance from the trainer, he began to slowly hold the ring for longer. He did successfully put the ring onto the pole twice throughout this session. Focus: Foundation C+
