Mav was so excited to be back at training today! It took a little while for him to refocus but once he had he did some great work.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Mav was very excited to be back in for training! Due to the wet weather we worked on his loose lead in the cattery area. He walked very nicely so we also worked on his emergency drops. He was a bit slow at the start and needed the hand signal but as the session progressed he really improved and was dropping on just verbal cue while the trainer kept walking. He did break early a few times so this is something to work on at home.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his second session we worked on Mav's roll-over skill for something new. Mav took a bit of time to follow the lure properly at the start and we focused on getting him to follow it onto his side. He did manage two roll-overs during the session with some help (he would brace his legs against the trainer to push himself over). This can be a fun skill to continue at home as once he understands what the skill involves he should be able to do the rollover by himself without the support of the trainer.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: For his last session we continued work on Mav's middles skill. Mav did pretty well with this though he started to struggle once the angle of the trainer was changed. Using the hand signal he did improve in this after a few repetitions but could use some more work in this skill.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
