Mav's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: For his first session we worked on loose lead outside with recalls. Mav was not at his usual level with loose lead and it did take some time for him to settle and focus. Once he had settled we worked on random recalls while walking - he did really well with this as long as there were no other major distractions. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For his second session we worked on his place skill with toy and food distractions. He was quite good when the toys were first thrown past but after a while he did try to sneakily grab the rope toys. With food he was very distracted from the start but after some time he was able to stay on place and stop moving towards the food. This is something that still needs some practice as he does get distracted at the start of sessions. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For his last session we went to do red light/green light drops outside but Mav was so distracted by the environment and disinterested in the tug toy that we did emergency drops on the sidewalk instead. Mav was a little slow at the start but improved over the session. He did tend to drop in front of the trainer so moving him to drop on the side while walking was a focus of today. Overall he did well but this could still use more work outside. Focus: Distraction C+
