Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In marleys first session we trained place duration. She did pretty well at this skill at the start with me moving around singing, then after awhile I think her brain had brain farts and she was breaking more then she was doing so then when I was releasing her I was playing with her, high pitched voice having some fun with her then putting her back on place. She might just get bored so making sure your having fun while still training the basics. Focus: Duration A
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Marleys second session we trained drops duration, we had two other dogs in training in the classroom which was a great distraction for her. When ever I would say drop she would have to drop while facing the other dogs to see what’s going on hahah! She did do pretty well, she did break a few times but not bad. Keep practicing this around moderate distractions. Focus: Duration B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Marleys last session I wanted to do something different with her. She we conditioned her going through a hoop, at first she did not want to have a bar of it but if I help her lead through the hoop she would then jump through it which was amazing to see. Then after awhile I was just luring her threw with food and she was doing. After awhile you could name it or say ‘through’ and point to the object and she will do it. She did awesome. Focus: Repetition B+

We recommend your next step should be…
