Our feedback
Marie was happy to be back at Windamere training, needing a little bit of time with each skill to remember what was wanted of her but smashing it with a bit of repetition
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: Marie started the day revisiting her place skill to test where she is at. Marie stepped off a few times early but after some sort repetition she remembered the rules if the skill in the classroom and didn't step off again early after that. We then put her on the long lead and practiced at a door distance to which she completed very reliably. | Focus: Distance | B+ |
Skill learnt: Trick Training | Comment: We continued working in the classroom on a new skill named weave. Weave is where we get Marie to go through our legs in a figure 8 motion. We lured Marie through our leg, using a treat and marking yes as she made her way through. We then repeated this with the other leg and so forth. It took Marie a few repetitions to understand as she thought we were working on her middle's skill but once she understood she picked the skill up quick. | Focus: Foundation | B |
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: Marie went out to the car park to work on her loose lead walking. Marie's engagement was lacking as we first made our way out side, pulling ahead to get to smells. As we put in some repetition, Marie started walking with her trainer by his side. She would occasionally walk ahead to investigate something but would quickly return to her trainer. | Focus: Obedience | B |
