Marie's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: This session focused on her drops, working on duration and distraction. The trainer was able to have her in a drop position and move away from her, run past her and even tempt her with cuddles. She did break position once while practicing fast moving distraction - she wanted to join in and got the zoomies. Marie has some really solid understanding of her drop position, keep working on those distractions, especially fast movements! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: This session focused on her recalls outside in the paddock. We kept a long line attached to her incase she decided not to come back - which she only did once when she found a good smell in the grass. Make sure to practice her recalls in lots of different environments on lead first and build up the distance as you go! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Her last session today focused on her “hold” skill. We were able to build up a little duration today. To help her hold it a little longer we found that placing your finger gently on her bottom jaw encouraged her to hold it for a few more seconds! She did get quite frustrated when the trainer withheld treats but this only made her try harder and hold it for longer! Go Marie! Focus: Duration C+
