Marie was happy to come down to the classroom and start her training today. She did some trick training to keep up some mental enrichment as well as a little bit more thunder desensitisation.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Desensitisation
|Comment: Marie continued her Thunder desensitisation using loud sounds from the stereo as well as adding a clap stick to add an extra layer of distraction. Marie stayed on the bed the whole lesson, not flinching at he loud sounds, happily relaxing until released. As the lesson went on, Marie got more comfortable, laying down on the bed while the loud sounds played.
|Skill learnt: Ring a Bell
|Comment: Marie revisited her ring the bell skill, focusing on increasing the strength with which she grabbed the string. Gradually raising the criteria, Marie consistently made the bell ring, and we rewarded her only when it produced a ding noise, achieving success by the end of the lesson.
|Skill learnt: Trick Training
|Comment: Marie finished with some fun, going over her skateboard skill. Marie needed a bit of a reminder at the beginning of the skill, although quickly remembering the criteria of the skill. Marie would confidently put her paws up on the board although quickly hop back off. We focused on trying to get her to stay on the board and start rolling it forwards. By the end of the lesson she was rolling the board forwards for up to 2-3 seconds at a time consistently."

E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
