Maple's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Everyone was very excited to see Maple again! She was overexcited within the classroom so the trainers utilised this opportunity to encourage her to rev up and settle down with drop! To begin with she struggled going into position but after a few repetitions responded well to the training. Her release word was very fitting because she really did 'party' with the trainer when released!! Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: As soon as the pods were down Maple knew exactly what to do! The trainer utilised the wall to assist with correctly setting Maple up and reduce her turning. This session focused on repetition to further build her rear awareness. By the end she was stepping on the pods with all 4s without assistance! (see insta video). Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Maple pulled quite heavily on lead when she arrived and when heading towards the classroom. Due to this her last session focused on reducing her pulling and engagement on lead. Maple responded well to this and even progressed into the cattery where many distractions were present. Keep up the great work at home! Focus: Distraction C+
