Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Manny’s first session was drop in the classroom. The classroom had another couple of dogs in crates which Manny was aware of but didn’t react. Manny is still reluctant to do drops but with repetition he is slowly getting better. His duration of holding the position is much better also. Trainers will continue to work on drops with Manny to help him not only feel confident doing them but to be able to do them in more distracting environments. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Manny’s next session was a little exposure to more people. He met a very tall male and was quite hesitant around him. The trainer then put Manny on place and he was more settled here. As the trainer walked away Manny did take the opportunity to decide to get off to smell some smells! The trainer took it back a bit and didn’t walk as far away and Manny was much better. It was a great session for Manny with the extra exposure! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Manny’s final session was a confidence walk. Again he encountered people and the trainer stopped and chatted with no reaction to the people. Awesome work Manny. The trainer then continued into the paddock and took Manny to ‘Pride rock’. Manny was very hesitant at first to walk out onto the rock but he did do it and he seemed pretty happy with himself!! Focus: Repetition B
