|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: Manny’s first session was the confidence course. And he was very hesitant today. It took a good 5 minutes to coax him through the full course once. After that he did go a little better. However, he then didn’t want a lead on. The trainer didn’t rush him and just used treats to settle him down and got there in the end.||Focus: Repetition||X|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Because the first session went over time the trainer continued it into a confidence walk for Manny. This time he went up the driveway only stopping once although he did stick close to the trainer. The trainer took Manny up to the top car park and grass. He was great and even managed to pose for some photos.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Last session was place overlooking the busy road. At first Manny was concerned about the loud trailers and trucks but as the session progressed and the the trainer used the yes marker and rewards more frequently Manny paid less attention to the cars. He still isn’t full settled on place and remained sitting whenever he was on the place bed. He only broke a couple of times after he thought the trainer was walking away and he thought he’d follow. It was a good session to end on as he was more settled.||Focus: Distraction||B|
