Manny had some fun today working with a new trainer, needing a bit of a reminder with his skills to get his engagement, but did well when his focus was on his trainer.

| Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: Manny started with his place skill today. Manny was low engagement as we started as he had a new trainer, as well as his regular trainer being in the room. Manny needed a bit of repetition before staying to shift his focus to the new trainer. Many stepped off periodically before his release word, but kept on the skill most of the time. | Focus: Repetition | B |
| Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: We revisited teaching Manny to ring the bell with his paw. He was a bit confused at first, not quite knowing what we wanted from him. After some repetition, he was pawing at the bell consistently. He lost his attention mid-way as another dog entered the room to work, but we managed to get his astuteness back on the trainer to finish the lesson strong | Focus: Back to Basics | C+ |
| Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: Manny finished with his drop skill. He was quite distracted throughout this lesson, needing an engagement game to get his attention on the task. Once Manny was engaged, he happily went down into the skill, although losing engagement on and off throughout the task.
