Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Mabel began her day with her ‘paws up’ skill, focusing on duration to help build her confidence. Mabel has improved so much and had her paws on the inflatable pod straight away, yay! The trainer worked on having her remain on the pod for several seconds before allowing her to hop off and she did really well! Mabel will happily stay on the pod if treats are involved, otherwise she will just step off right away. Keep up the awesome work at home with this, we have definitely seen an increase in her confidence! Try out some random objects so it can grow even more! Focus: Confidence B
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: Next up, Mabel did some more confidence building with her ‘touch’ skill, using a wooden spoon. Mabel has also improved in this so much!! She is touching it in all different directions, high and low and it is amazing!! Keep testing her with this and use different objects or even your hands, she is a really clever girl. Awesome work! Focus: Confidence B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: To finish off, Mabel worked on her ‘drop’ skill during her loose lead walking. Mable has great engagement whilst walking and therefore drops pretty quick when you ask her to, which is great! She was a little distracted with the other dogs and trainers in the room, but she did really well for the most part. Keep testing her engagement and drops under more distractions; toys, food, people, etc. Brilliant work today Miss Mabel! Focus: Distraction B+
