Lupa has continued to improve today and is great to train
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Lupa’s first session was loose lead walking. She pulled right out of the kennel but soon settled and only pulled slightly. As the change continued to change direction to get Lupa’s focus, Lupa did walk much better. Next time it will be great to get Lupa walking well straight away.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Game time for Lupa’s second session. Red light green light. Teaching Lupa that no matter how excited she is she needs to drop on command. Lupa progressed well with this and towards the end of the session Lupa was dropping consistently. For next time the trainer would like to see Lupa dropping right at the start of the game.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: Lupa’s final session was the confidence course. This course is great for all dogs to experience different environments and things underfoot. Lupa was very hesitant at first but the trainer lured her with treats and it wasn’t long before she was heading around the course on her own. On the way to and from the course Lupa encountered a horse. The first Lupa barked. But the trainer used the yes marker to help Lupa learn that the horse meant treats. As such in the way back she only barked once! Going forward it will be great to work further with Lupa to help her learn not to bark at the other animals.||Focus: Repetition||X|
