Lupa did fantastic with his training today we had so many other dogs in the same room and he was great. With the barking we can’t train that normally if he’s barking give him a job to do like practicing his training, or we ignore hun when he barks
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: In Lupa’s first session we trained recall, with this skill what we did was have her on a lead if she was distracted say her name, once she’s coming towards you say ‘cone’ until she’s next to you then reward with ‘yes’ and treats. She did well with this skill we had another dog in training as well so that was a good distraction for her. Will be working on this in his next sessions again getting him used to his name, dogs don’t actually know there names so this way he will learn.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In lupa’s second session we trained lose lead, this skill will help prevent her pulling when on lead and taking her for walks. We had two other dogs in training so she did take a while to engage with the trainer but when she did she did fantastic didn’t pull once. Still have a long way to go but she’s done so well already won’t take long.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In lupas last session we trained place, this skill will prevent her jumping and get her to relax. She did so well on place we had another dog in training which did test her quite abit, but she only broke from place twice other then that she listened to me when I would say ‘break’. Next session I would like to try distance to see how far I can get without her breaking.||Focus: Duration||B|
