|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Lupa’s first session was was drops outside but lower distraction. Today was much better for Lupa actually getting into a drop however holding the drop with other people around was difficult for her. The trainer worked with her and although she was still breaking she wasn’t doing it as often. The trainer will continue this with Lupa when she is here to have her dropping no matter the distraction.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Today we have a lot of dogs training in the classroom so the trainer revisited place with Lupa in this distracting environment. At first she was breaking off place straight away, even with the trainer standing right next to her. However, has the session progressed she was holding place well. At one point she laid down which was awesome to see. Next time it would be great to have her settle quicker regardless of what is going on around her.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: The final session for Lupa was conditioning to people and traffic as a few times the trainers have noticed that she will bark at these things. To help Lupa, while talking at a distance to others the trainer kept yes marking Lupa and before long she was ignoring the other person. This also worked well with the traffic. This session ended with some ball throws with recall! Goals for next time would be further conditioning to people.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
