Luna's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: This session focused on her place skill, doing lots of repetition on and off the bed while also mixing in some longer durations with trainer distraction. She did well although did break position a couple times for fast trainer movement - this could be something to focus on at home. Once on place, move quickly around her. Sometimes the speed of our movement can be quite exciting! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: We then moved on to her loose lead walking. Luna showed some good understanding of the rules, but was quite distracted outside. We worked out here for a little while but then moved back inside so we could really reinforce that engagement! She improved quickly once back inside - something to keep in mind when training at home. If she loses that focus when in a slightly more challenging environment - up your excitement and treat value and/or move back inside! Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Lastly Luna worked on some recalls and drops! We started inside, doing lots of repetitions from one end of the classroom to the other then moved outside to practice some on a short lead. When moving to a higher distracting environment - set her up for success, reduce the distance and make sure you are super exciting to her! Focus: Repetition B
