Luna did so well for her training today. She performed beautifully and had a smile on her face the whole day.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For Luna's first session she worked on her loose lead skill in the classroom. At the beginning, she was quite distracted by the other trainers and dogs in the classroom, but after a few minutes she was fully engaged with her training. In the future we want Luna to not let these distractions get in the way of her training and give us her full engagement from the very beginning.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For her second session, we focused on her 'drop' skill with added distractions. Lovely Luna did so well with this! She was able to maintain her drop even when there were plates of food and a trainer running up and down in front of her, she did amazing! We want Luna to keep progressing with this skill so she is able to withstand even higher distractions, which will come in handy on her walks!||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: To finish up, Luna practiced her 'recall' skill outside. She did relatively well and was able to come most times on the first call of her name, but if she found a really good smell, it would take a few seconds longer for her to come back. Towards the end of her session, she got the hang of it and came bounding back in no time when she was called. We want Luna to keep progressing with this skill so she is able to leave even higher distractions alone and come back on command.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
