2024-01-25

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Mr Louie was VERY excited to get started and struggled to settle when leaving his accomodation and the building. We utilised his drops to regain some focus and then practiced loose lead up and down the corridor. Once he settled we were able to progress outside and practice some loose lead in the carpark. He was quite sassy today and quite vocal, so we didn’t use the tug toy just yet. We wanted him in a better mindset before we brought the toy out. Focus: Manners C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: We worked on his drops around another dog and trainer duo. He listened to the trainer well doing what we asked, but his engagement wasn’t 100%. We found that doing quick repetitions of drop helped him focus a bit more on the trainer rather than his surroundings. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Play Comment: For his last session he was much more focused and in a better mindset so we practiced “get it,” “out” and place. He was so ready for this session, he responded nicely to each cue, only forgetting to let go once when we said “out” but a good “uh uh” was enough to remind him. He did really well, he even ignored a dog walking past since he was so fixated on the tug toy! Focus: Repetition A
