Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Loki’s first session was loose lead walking and he did a great job. The trainer started at the back of the kennels and he was a little distracted by the other dogs but he kept walking. Down towards the bottom car park although not looking at the trainer Loki was still paying attention as whenever there was a direction change Loki responded well! When the trainer went to the grassed area Loki did not do as well but no major pulling even though dogs in yards and on leads were visible! A great first session. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Next up for Loki was a look at all his skills to work towards his trick title. He was very distracted by the smells as usual. The trainer filmed shake paws, spin, drop and sit to start with. The other skills like middle, crawl and bow he wasn’t able to do without a lure so the trainer spent the remainder of the session practicing a few of those tricks. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Last session was fantastic. Full of laughs and cuddles as Loki nailed some more tricks and struggled with others! Paws up and the bell ring were the next ones to get filmed. He was so proud of paws up it was fantastic to see. Middle he got super excited about but still needed a lure so going forward the trainer will need to practice that! But a great day with Loki and lots of fun! Focus: Repetition B+
