Lochie performed very well with his training today, he is progressing well with all of his skills. Keep up the great work at home.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Lochie focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead walking' within a low distracting environment. We focused on this skill to reduce his challenging behaviour of pulling. Lochie was initially distracted within the classroom environment and showed little engagement with his trainer. With some guidance Lochie slowly began to redirect his focus onto the trainer and performed well. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Sit||Comment: In his second session, Lochie focused on further developing his understanding of the skills 'sit' and 'drop' with repetitions within the classroom. Lochie performed very well, he showed a good basic knowledge of both skills. He can struggle identifying between the two skills, when he is struggling the trainer went back to basics and used a hand signal and a lure. With some guidance and going back to basics he quickly began to follow the correct command. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his final session, Lochie focused on further developing his skill 'place' under high distractions (multiple dogs training within classroom as well as human, ball and food movement). Lochie performed very well, he was interested in the distractions but did not break place for any of them. We suggest continuing to challenge him at home.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
