|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: For Lily’s first session we focused on conditioning her to the classroom and making her feel comfortable in it. She was a little more concerned with what Loki was doing across the room, but managed to settle a little with the help of treats and lots of pets. We want Lily to keep progressing so she is able start learning skills without being distracted or uncomfortable.||Focus: Conditioning||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For Lily’s second session, we introduced her to her ‘place’ skill by having her follow a lure on and off place. She did relatively well, but she was very distracted by the other dogs in the room and it was a bit difficult to regain her attention to perform the skill. In the future we want Lily to be able to follow a lure onto place, and off, no matter how distracting her surroundings are, as it is an important skill for her to have as it will help her relax in the given environment.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: By the last session both Loki and Lily were exhausted from their big day. The trainers make a point to not overwhelm them too much during their first Dayschool's therefore ended it on a positive with a walk around the facilities. This enabled them both to explore, develop confidence with their surroundings and with the new trainers.||Focus: Conditioning||C+|
