Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: We started off the day working on some place training. We began with quick repetitions on and off the bed, then started to increase the duration and trainer distractions while she remained on the bed. Lilli did very well this session, she only broke position a couple times when the trainer made quicker movements. She had lots of fun this session. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: This session focused on her drop skill, since Lilli struggles to get into her drop position we changed it up a little bit. We used the “under leg” method, getting Lilli to crawl under our leg. The moment she gets into that sphinx like position, we mark yes then reward. We can slowly fade out our leg as she improves! Drop is a great control position to have so this will definitely be something to continue working on when she goes home. Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: For her last session we had some fun teaching Lilli middles (sitting between trainers legs looking up at us). To teach this we throw a treat behind us, then lure her back through our legs and into a sit. This is a great control/safety position and is a bit of fun! Lilli started to pick this up throughout the session and was even building duration in position. Keep practicing lots of repetitions and building duration. Focus: Foundation C+

We recommend your next step should be…
