Lexi did some amazing work today! Her skills are coming along nicely and she worked well around other dogs in the classroom.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For her first session we took Lexi outside in the nice weather to work on her loose lead. She did really well at this - she would occasionally go a bit quick but responded really well to her markers. She didn't take treats this session but still gave good focus on the trainer throughout the session and responded to the "yes" marker well. Next time we'd like to add some more distractions outside to continue building this skill. At home, work on engagement during her loose lead session with lots of treats when she looks at you during the walk.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For her second session we worked on Lexi's place skill. She is really good at this skill but can get distracted with wanting to be with people. She stayed well with food and toys but did break a few times with people distractions. Her duration is improving and she held it well by the end of the session. Next time we'd like to increase the distractions for her - at home work on light distractions to get her ready for bigger distractions.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For her last session we worked on Lexi's drops in the classroom. Her drop skill is great - she listened well to the trainer and held it well with toy and people distractions. She did start just about start falling asleep in the drop near the end of the session though! Next time we'd like to see her in her drop around higher distractions and a bit more energy and engagement with the trainer. At home keep up the great work on her drops with some distractions.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
