Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: We focused on further building Levi's understanding of place training and release word by using the distractions of another dog on place. The trainer would release both individually starting with Levi. He understands the skill well but was hesitating with his release word. When the other dog was released he watched intently but did not break from the bed. Focus: Foundation B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: With the sun shining for a brief period we used this opportunity to train on the oval. We worked on Levi's drop which he was hesitant to do on the wet grass! This was good to focus on as well as adding ball distractions. Levi has improved with his impulse control and remained when balls were thrown past him. Occasionally the trainer misgudged her throw and it would bouce too close to Levi so he would catch it but go straight back into the drop. At the end of the session we also added recalls after distractions were thrown past him. Good job buddy! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: We revisited this session and out of curiosity the trainer would like you to put a lead on him when on bed (not tethered). As Levi is not familiar to a lead it is possible he was less inclined to break from position with us as he found the sensation of the lead uncomfortable. Give it a try and see if it makes a difference with his place training. Focus: Obedience B+
