|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Levi's first session focused on his loose lead skill. He struggled to engage and pulled heavily within the outside kennel environment so we worked on this skill within the classroom. In the classroom there were multiple dog and people distractions and this was a good balance of distractions for him to work on. Towards the end of the session his engagement had improved and he was remaining focused and engaged with the trainer. Next time we would like to focus on this skill outside.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: The goal for this session was chopping board distractions on place (bed) however we were unable to reach this goal. The new environment was very distracting for Levi and he struggled to remain on the bed. Levi lacks duration and impulse control so this was focused on during the session. The trainer focused on adding distance, noises and fast movements as distractions for Levi. Towards the end of the session he was still breaking position but had improved considerably.||Focus: Distance||C+|
|Skill learnt: Sit||Comment: We focused on sit and drop for his final session today as he struggles with duration for both skills. This was challenge for Levi as he is easily distracted and occasionally ignored the command. As soon as the non reward marker (ah ah) and slight lead pressure was used; he quickly improved with his response to the commands. As the classroom was distracting for Levi we slowly built his duration in lots of 3 seconds. Great work Levi! He did really well considering how distracted he was!||Focus: Duration||C+|
