Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Leo’s first session was place. He did struggle at first as he wanted to get off straight away. The trainer used the yes marker and treats and before long the trainer was able to walk around the place bed. By the end of the session the trainer was just starting to make big movements around the place bed and Leo was making great choices about what to do!! Awesome work. Keep practicing at home with low distractions at first.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Sit||Comment: Leo’s second session was sit! Leo did a fantastic job. Initially the trainer had to work hard to get Leo to sit. However, he progressed so well that the trainer faded the lure out and was just asking for a sit. Leo’s duration for the sit progressed well also. Next time it will be great to see Leo hold the sit with some more distractions.||Focus: Duration||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Final session for Leo was loose lead walking. Like last time he did pull. But the trainer, kept changing directions and this helped bring Leo’s focus back to the job at hand. The trainer kept to the driveway and Leo was less likely to pull towards smells in this environment. Going forward it will be good to walk Leo on the grassed areas with no pulling. All of Leo’s training sessions were around other dogs including walking passed another dog for his final session. He showed interest but nothing to be concerned about.||Focus: Distraction||B|
