| Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: First session Leena worked on her place skill. Today we focused on short send to place as well as her duration around distractions (trainer movement, other dogs and Poppy). Leena did well this session, she needed a slight lure at times to help her onto place when she was a bit distracted but held her duration well only breaking early a couple of times. She is beginning to settle faster in the class and around other dogs which we love to see! | Focus: Distraction | B |
| Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: Leenas second session we worked on her drop skill. This session we focused on her duration and response to the just the verbal cue around dog distractions and Poppy. At the beginning of the session leena was quick to break position early and struggled with her duration. With quick repetitions she began to engage more with her trainer which helped her hold her duration well. Good job Leena! | Focus: Duration | C+ |
| Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: For her final session Leena worked on her loose lead. Today we worked in the classroom to continue building up her engagement and leash manners around dog distractions as she can become quick unfocused around other dogs at times. Leena did quite well this session around lower energy dogs, she was able to maintain her engagement with her trainer and work on in and outside turning. Great work Leena! | Focus: Distraction | B |
