Leena was full of beans for training today! Keep building up those basic obedience skills at home, she is a clever girl!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: For her first session we worked on place in the classroom as she was so full of energy! Leena did have some barking towards a few other dogs (and when she spotted our fake dog in the classroom) so we worked on having her settle on place to start off with before starting to build some movement distractions. She did well with the trainer moving back and forth in front of her but broke each time the trainer crouched in front of her.
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)
|Comment: For her second session we worked on loose lead in the classroom. Leena was initially a bit all over the place but soon settled into a nicer walk. She did have a few moments of barking at dogs in crates but otherwise did better this session around the dogs. Her engagement also improved over the session, next time we will look at working either around a quiet dog or outside to increase the distractions.
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: For her last session we worked on Leena's drop skill. Leena was quite good at going into drop but did struggle a bit to hold her drop today. She popped up quite a bit on her own but did go back into her drops fairly well even with another dog in thr classroom. Keep working on her duration and build the distractions up slowly to strengthen this skill.
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
