Leena's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Leenas first session we had some fun with a drop and place circuit . This is a great way to help build her engagement when first entering the classroom as she can be quite excited for her training. Today we pushed the skills by having her do place on different objects (towels, mats, wobble board). Leena did really well with both her skills and holding duration around trainer movement. She can break early at times but is easily redirected back to the skill by saying uh uh. Focus: Obedience B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For Leenas second session we continued working on her sit pretty. Leena is showing good progress in this, she still at times uses her paws to hold the trainers arm for balance but was able to hold the skill on her own a handful of times in this session. As she becomes more comfortable in the final position we can begin building duration. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Spin Comment: Leenas final session we worked on her spin. This session we started with some lured repetitions to get her focused and then started to move the lure further away from her nose to help fade this out. She does still need a lure guidance but is progressing well and we have begun adding the verbal cue “spin”. She loves trick training and gets very excited doing them! Focus: Repetition B

We recommend your next step should be…
