Lady did excellent work today! She smashed out her obedience skills but just needs a bit more work on some of the trick skills. She did get tired pretty easily after the first session!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For her first session we worked on Lady’s send to place skill. As she can be a little slow to go to place we used physical play and running around to get her more energetic before sending to place. This did seem to really help her and if she was already jogging/running around she would continue the pacing towards the bed. At home use play and chasing before sending her to place to make the skill more enticing for her to continue play.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her second session we worked on some trick skills as Lady was a bit tired from the previous play session. She didn’t have great balance for sit pretty but did have minimal balance on the trainer which was great. Continue working on this to build up her muscles and balance. For the latter half we worked on roll over to give her a bit of a break. She was a bit lazy with this but still did quite well with rolling over the full way each time she was asked (she would just sometimes pause halfway or go slowly).||Focus: Repetition||B+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For her last session we took Lady outside with another dog to work on her loose lead. Lady did really well with this, she kept good engagement and followed beautifully next to the trainer. We even did some jogging with her and having her drop while walking to keep her focus, both parts which she had no issues with. Well done Lady!||Focus: Distraction||A|
