Lady was a bit of a sook today and struggled to keep up with her training! After psyching her up from the first session she found her energy again
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Lady was a little sluggish during this session so the train got her brain and body going by doing loose lead with a change of pace. She LOVED this and once she got the hang of it had adjusted her pace to match the trainers. The trainer went from a walk, to jog and run which tricked lady as it required her to focus more. By the end of this session both Lady and her trainer were puffed! Despite this, she did really well focusing on the trainer.||Focus: Obedience||A|
|Skill learnt: Sit||Comment: This skill isn't one that the trainers have focused on with Lady. When commanded to sit Lady would go straight into a drop or a sit and then drop. The trainer went back to basics of luring into a sit and added duration (getting her to hold her sit). It didn't take her long to remember this skill so they started working on getting her to sit on the trainers left hand side. When the trainer asked for a sit she would move to sit in front of the trainer.||Focus: Back to Basics||C+|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Lady was pretty tired by this session the trainer took her for a gentle walk and worked on recalls at random. Lady is at the stage of her recalls where they need to be frequently infrequent. This mean they should happen on a daily basis, infrequently. The trainer would like you to focus on Lady's recalls a 3-5 times a day. On lead wait until she is distracted and then call her name, if she looks at you start running backwards (encourages her to run towards you) and when she is close say 'come'.||Focus: Distraction||B+|

C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
