Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Lady began her day practicing her ‘loose lead’ walking outside with another sheppy distraction and she did really well! She was kept 5-10metres away and showed no signs of reactivity and listened beautifully with her drop command. The key with Lady is to find her critical distance and oblige with it. Be firm with her controlled positions (ie drop, sit and middles). Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Next up, Lady continued to work on her ‘paws up’ skill, this time using the new and bigger wobble board, focusing on getting all 4 paws on. At first she struggled, but by the end of the session she was able to sit on the wobble board!! Not very well, but she did it! Lol! Lady was also performing this skill while having multiple other dogs in the room and was able to ignore them beautifully. Keep up the good work with her paws up! Focus: Confidence B+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: To finish off the day, Lady practiced her ‘place’ skill, focusing on distractions; other dogs and trainers. She did really well! Lady was able to be sent to and from place from a good distance, but she struggled to remain on place if the trainer were to give her dance moved and exciting noises as the distractions! Keep practicing this at home, test her with a variety of movements and be sure to use “ah ah” if she tries to break and reposition her. Great work today, Lady! Focus: Distraction C+

We recommend your next step should be…
