Lady seemed a little tired today, but she still performed well overall.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: This morning Lady started off with her ‘middles’ skill. She was able to perform this skill from a good 3-4 metres away, but she seemed tired and plopped herself down, not doing it anymore when the trainer asked. Instead, the trainer had Lady revisit her ‘roll over’ skill. Lady performed much better with this and rolled over beautifully each time she was asked. A lure is still needed for this, so we are working on fading the lure and replacing it with a hand motion.||Focus: Distance||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Next up, Lady kept practicing her ‘sit pretty’ skill, still focusing on duration. She is really starting to get the hang of it, managing to hold the position for several seconds before placing her front paws back down. Keep up the great work at home, remember to not reward her until she has say pretty for at least a couple seconds. Once she has got the hang of this we will begin to fade her lure.||Focus: Duration||C+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: To finish off her day, Lady practiced her ‘loose lead’ walking with added spins. She performed beautifully for both skills, but towards the end she got a bit tired and wouldn’t always spin when asked. With the use of her non-reward marker, she understood and then performed it properly. Amazing work today Miss Lady!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
