|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In her first session, Lady focused on further developing her skill 'loose lead walking ' under distractions (training outside). Lady initially performed very well, she showed good engagement with her trainer and ignored all distractions. However, as the session progressed, she was startled by a dog on the other side of the fence. This cause Lady to react and bark towards this dog. With some guidance she slowly re directed her focus back onto the trainer. Next time we would like to see Lady remain engaged with her despite distractions.||Focus: Distraction||C|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In her second session, Lady focused on further developing her skill 'drop' under dog distractions. We focused on this skill as Lady has been struggling with dog distractions recently. Lady was initially distracted by the environment, including the grass and other dogs, but with some guidance she quickly began to redirect her focus back onto her trainer and performed very well. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: in her final session, Lady focused on learning the new skill 'pick a card' with repetitions within the classroom. We focused on this skill to continue working towards her trick title. Lady performed very well, she interacted with the cards straight away, touching then with her nose. With some guidance she quickly began to pull out the card. We were very impressed with how well Lady performed with this trick.||Focus: Foundation||B+|
