|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: To start off Lady’s day we practiced her ‘recall’ skill outside, where all the good smells are! Lady did so well and came back to us when she was called, only a little bit extra encouragement was needed if she had found a rather intriguing smell! Recall is such an important skill for Lady to maintain as it tests her listening and engagement to whoever is with her, and we want her to keep striving so she is able to perform his skill in even higher distracting environments!||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: Next, Lady revisited her ‘middles’ skill. She did really well at performing the skill, but would often do the skill before she was asked. In the future we want Lady to not perform middles until she is asked, whether she is in a place, drop, sit, etc. This is so she can learn to maintain her impulse control and not break the skill she was put in prior.||Focus: Distance||B+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: To finish up, Lady worked on her loose lead walking inside the classroom and outside. Lovely Lady did so well and kept great engagement throughout this last session, although she was a little slower with her walking after a big day. We want Lady to keep striving with this skill so we are able to test her focus and engagement in higher distracting environments.||Focus: Distraction||A|
