Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In her first session, Lady focused on further developing her skill 'drop' under high distractions, including balls, people, dogs and high stimulating environments. We focused on this skill to build her impulse control. Lady performed well, she initial struggled to remain in drop, but with some guidance she quickly began to maintain it well. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: In her second session, Lady focused on further developing a range skill for her trick title. These skills included, sit, drop, roll over, middle and paws up. Lady perform well with all of these skills and she loves showing off her tricks. Lady required little luring from her trainer, these lures were quickly faded into hand signals with a verbal cue. Focus: Conditioning B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In her final session, Lady focused on further developing her skill 'loose lead' walking with repetitions while outside. We focused on this skill to build engagement and reduce her pulling. Lady was initially distracted by the environment, but with the use of drops she quickly redirected her focus onto the trainer. Next time we would like to continue adding distractions. Focus: Distraction B
