|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Kracka’s first session focused on place training with loud noises. He does tend to shy away from loud noises so it is important to work with him to help him feel more comfortable around sudden loud noises. Kracka did well to stay on place with the loud noises, although he clearly wasn’t comfortable. The trainer would like to continue this next until Kracka is comfortable with the rattling of cans and other loud sudden noises.||Focus: Desensitisation||C|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: To help further Kracka’s exposure to noises the trainer took him to the yard near the road and practiced drops. He did break twice for a loud trailer and also a truck. However as the session progressed he settled and was taking treats well and ignoring the loud traffic going by. This exposure can be continued at home near roads. Put Kracka in a drop position and use the yes marker as he stays in the drop position. Near the end of this session Kracka went through the obstacle course. Which he clearly enjoys and awaits his treat afterwards! Well done Kracka!||Focus: Distraction||C+|
