Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For Kracka’s first session the trainer continued to work on his noise sensitivity. He was very nervous to start with when another trainer walked out and made noise outside, as well as a whipper snipper going nearby. However, the trainer continued marking with yes whilst banging a canvas sign and the side of the building. Kracka did great and responded really well and was certainly a lot less worried about the noises by the end of the session. This is something that that trainer will continue to work on with Kracka. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Ring a Bell Comment: For his second session the trainer introduced Kracka to ringing a bell. A good fun confidence building skill for Kracka to learn. At first he was really nervous around the bell, but the trainer continued to yes mark when ever he looked at it until he was starting to touch it with his nose. The trainer continued this with the third session as well to help establish Kracka’s skill building with this trick. When Kracka started on this next session with the bell it again took a little time for Kracka to realised that he needed to touch the bell. Towards the end of the session Kracka was starting to touch the bell consistently to get that yes marker. The trainer would like to continue this skill until Kracka can actually ring the bell. Focus: Repetition C+
