We enjoyed training together even though the brushing wasn’t successful. We still ended on cuddles and love!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: Kracka’s first session was middle. The trainer lured Kracka between her legs. It did take Kracka a couple of minutes to start to focus and follow the food around! Kracka did well and was sitting well after being lured around. Next time it would be great to start fading out the lure.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: Next session was muzzle training for Kracka and he was not keen for this. The trainer put Kracka on place and worked on the muzzle training from there. After initially not wanting to do this and turning his head, the trainer rewarded at the start with just Kracka touching the muzzle. By the end of the session Kracka was putting his nose in the muzzle for about 5 seconds. Keep practicing at home using lots of treats.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Last session for Kracka was brushing and Kracka struggled with this. He snapped at the trainer when the brushed touched him and then didn’t want to come near the trainer. The trainer spent the remaining session have cuddles with Kracka and rewarding when the brush was moved on the ground. And progressing with the trainer being able to have the brush in her hand while patting Kracka with the other. This is going to be slow going for Kracka. Have the brush out and reward a lot. Then progress to having it in your hand while rewarding him.||Focus: Repetition||D|
