|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In her first session, Kora focused on further developing her skill 'drop' with repetitions under distractions (training outside). We focused on this skill to begin weaning off the lure, ensuring Kora has a good understanding of the skill. Kora performed well, she can become easily distracted by her environment (grass, people, cars and dogs), but with some guidance she slowly began to engage with her trainer. When engaged Kora shows great drops, she still required a low hand signal, although this has begun to be weaned off. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In her second session, Kora focused on further developing her skill 'place' with repetitions under high distractions (training outside). We focused on this skill to proof her 'place' and ensure she has a good understanding of the skill. Kora performed very well, she was initially distracted by the dogs barking in the kennel but she quickly redirected her focus back onto the trainer. Once engaged Kora performed great, she has good duration and distance but can struggle with distractions. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In her final session, Kora focused on learning the new skill 'spin' with repetition under distractions. We focused on this skill to build engagement with Kora. Kora performed well, she initially struggled to follow the lure around, but with some guidance she quickly began to 'spin'. Kora competed several successfully Spins throughout thus session. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||B|
