| Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: During Knox’s first session, we worked on drops. We began phasing out the hand gestures and he was consistently dropping on a verbal cue. Can work on staying in a drop and not rolling over for belly rubs during the drop. - not rewarding the rollover, guiding him into the drop and rewarding again. | Focus: Distraction | B+ |
| Skill learnt: Recall | Comment: In his second session we worked on loose lead and recall. During loose lead he had excellent engagement with trainer, can work on auto sits during loose lead, guiding him into a sit. He is taking time sitting although keeping engagement. During recalls we used multiple leads to have distance, just needs to work on getting into sit position quicker. | Focus: Distance | B+ |
| Skill learnt: Middle Position | Comment: On our last session we worked on middles, starting from a drop. Working on coming into middles from different angles, understanding to come from the back not the front. Can work on moving a bit more forward in the middle position, leading into the position further. | Focus: Repetition | B |
